发明名称 METHOD FOR READING OUT RADIATION IMAGE CONVERSION PANEL
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the graininess of images through the increase in the filling density of phosphors by decreasing the scattering of stimulable excitation light to improve the sharpness of image quality in a method for reading out data with a radiation image conversion panel using a double-side condensing system. SOLUTION: In a radiation image conversion panel 1 comprising a support 13 that is transparent at least optically and a phosphor layer 12 that has columnar stimulable phosphors 12 formed on the support 13 by an evaporation method, radiation energy is stored and recorded by the application of radiation. The stimulable phosphors are excited by irradiating the surface of the panel 1 with excitation light and the radiation energy stored in the stimulable phosphors is emitted as stimulable luminescent light, which is read out photoelectrically from both sides of the panel 1 respectively.
