PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensitiveness correcting device for easily and appropriately correcting spectral sensitiveness properties of multiple channels and a spectrometer. SOLUTION: This sensitiveness correcting device 10 is provided with a continuous spectral light source 12 generating continuous light within a desired wave number area, a dividing means for dividing a wave number area, which allows dispersion of a spectrometer 16 and is subjected to correction, into a plurality of adjacent subareas so that a part of the wave numbers or the wave numbers of the adjacent subareas are overlapped to each other, a wave number scanning means 15 changing each corresponding standard wave number in every measurement within the respective subareas by the dividing means 30 for making light receipt each channel light receive and a sensitiveness correcting means 30 providing a sensitiveness correction value within the wave number area before the division. The sensitiveness correcting means 30 provides the sensitiveness correction value within the wave number area before the division when it obtains intensity relative ratios of other channels to the intensity in receipt of the light of the standard wave number within a certain subarea so as to find sensitiveness correction values allowing correction of dispersion within the subareas from the relative ratios and connecting the sensitive correction values together within the subareas.
