PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device which can display a bright image, which has high contrast and good conductivity of electrodes and which hardly causes problems such as warpage of the device or cutting in electrode lines. SOLUTION: In the laminated liquid crystal device consisting of liquid crystal layers b, g, r laminated in this order, each liquid crystal layer b, g, r is held between a pair of resin film substrates 1, 2 having electrodes 11, 12, respectively. At least the electrode nearest to the observer side of the device (electrode 11 of the liquid crystal element B) has a thickness of >=1200Åand <=1500Åand a sheet resistance of <=200Ω/square.
