PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pole installation post in a tennis net or the like capable of largely increasing its supporting force by strongly driving a screw part into the ground, and an installation device capable of strongly installing a pole by constantly integrally moving the post and an installation plate in cooperation. SOLUTION: This post comprises a spirally wound screw part 3 of roughly linear metal material. This installation device comprises an installation plate 4 fixed to the post 1 to be positioned at an upper end part of the screw part 3.
