PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the tilt of a nut part in a sound producing mechanism. SOLUTION: This reel seat 1 is designed to attach a mounting leg 3 of a reel 2 for fishing to a fishing rod 4 and is provided with a seat body 10, a movable seat part 11, a nut part 12 and a sound producing mechanism 13 which is equipped with a ring 49, a sounding pin 51, a sound producing part 50 and a coil spring 52. The ring 49 is arranged on the inner peripheral side of the nut part 12 so as to be relatively rotatable from the nut part 12 and relatively nonrotatable from the seat body 10. The sounding pin 51 is supported on either one of the inner peripheral part of the nut part 12 and the outer peripheral part of the ring 49 so as to freely move in the radial direction. The sound producing part 50 is installed in either the other of the inner peripheral part of the nut part 12 and the outer peripheral part of the ring 49 and the sound producing part 50 is composed of a plurality of sounding holes 55 in which the sounding pin 51 respectively freely emerges and enters. The sounding pin 51 is urged to the sounding holes 55 by the coil spring 52.
