ROTATION ADJUSTING MECHANISM FOR IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a circular-arc guiding surface taking the center axis of the image display screen of a CRT as a center of curvature on the supporting frame of a CRT frame in order to adjust the in-plane tilt of the image display screen of the CRT without moving the center of the image display screen, and to displace the CRT frame with rotation along the guiding surface. SOLUTION: The circular-arc guiding surfaces 81a and 81a taking the center axis of the image display screen 4a of the CRT 4 as the center of curvature are arranged on the supporting frame 74, and the rotational displacement of the image display screen 4a is quantified by the rotation adjustment angle of screw members 83L and 83R.
