<p>An exemplary embodiment of the invention is a method for identifying product specifications between a purchaser system and a seller system connected over a network. The method includes using the purchaser system to identify a product specification. The seller system receives the product specification and automatically computes a product cost in response to the product specification. The product cost is then provided to the purchaser system. This allows the purchaser to determine the effect of product specifications on cost.</p> |
