PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of preventing the back surface staining of transfer material by excellently cleaning a transfer carrying belt in the case of transferring a patch image to the transfer carrying belt carrying the transfer material. SOLUTION: The tandem system color image forming device is provided with a blade type cleaning device 17 for the endlessly turning transfer carrying belt 7 carrying and feeding the transfer material. By turning the belt 7 until density detected by a density detector 20 detecting the density of the patch image formed on the belt 7 becomes the specified density, the patch image is removed by the device 17. |
