<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize a moving vector detecting device, which can greatly shorten the process time needed to detect a moving vector between frames of a dynamic image. SOLUTION: When the moving vector of the image part of a specific macroblock obtained by dividing a frame is obtained between frames of a dynamic image, a vector evaluated value of circumferential macro blocks in the frame which is currently processed is obtained (step S151), and its minimum value is set as a detection determination threshold value (step S152). When a detection frame below the detection determination threshold appears (step S156) at a stage for finding a vector evaluated value by scanning an inspection frame within a retrieval range in a reference frame, subsequent retrieval is not performed and the inspection frame is regarded as the start point of the moving vector for the macroblock (step S162) to shorten the process time.</p> |
