PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic image forming device with a double-sided printing mechanism by which operation is restored to a normal operation by succeeding operation even though a user carelessly forgets to close a cover by taking the operability of jammed paper processing into account. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic image forming device provided with the double-sided printing mechanism is constituted so that a cover abuts on the jammed paper processing cover of a double-sided printing mechanism part by a stop stay when the double-side printing mechanism part is reclosed, so that the cover which the user has forgot to close is closed. Thus, the cover is closed at a normal position by closing the double-sided printing mechanism even though the user carelessly forgets to close the jammed paper processing cover after jammed paper processing.
