PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing unit improved in convenience in the display of collected data on an indicator. SOLUTION: The data inputted to a multichannel analog input terminal 2 are subjected to a prescribed processing in an analog data processing circuit 3 and an A/D converter 4, and stored in a data memory 9. When the waveform of the inputted data is displayed on an LCD indicator 19, a basic condition such as sampling rate every channel or the like is set by an operation key 12 and stored in a work memory 10. When the waveform is enlarged and displayed, an observation mode is set, and the number of collection of data is changed according to the waveform display area size of a display screen. When the waveform is further enlarged and displayed, the magnification of display is changed.
