PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide highly convenient printer and printing executing device which can flexibly cope with printer management in a large scale network, especially the change of printer positions. SOLUTION: The printer PR recognizes a geographical installation position such as a latitude and a longitude for itself by a position recognizing part 40. A computer CP instructing printing acquires position information from the printer PR and specifies a printer to be made to perform printing according to the position information in the printer PR. Thus, the management of printers on the network becomes so convenient that a user can perform printing with the printer at a desired position any time.
