PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a plurality of users of an automobile navigation system to utilize route searching conforming to respective route selectivity tendencies. SOLUTION: When a personal information recording medium 22 is inserted to a personal information-reproducing/recording device 21 of the automobile navigation system 16, a personal identifier 27 is read out and the user is identified. Route selectivity tendency data of the user is received from an information center through a route selectivity tendency data receiving/transmitting device 25. Routes are searched for on the basis of the received route selectivity tendency data. Route selection factors are analyzed from an actual travel route and an evaluation reference is updated on the basis of the factors, whereby a route selectivity of the user is learned. The learned result is transmitted again to the information center and stored. Even when one navigation apparatus 16 is utilized by a plurality of people, routes can be automatically searched for correctly based on the route selectivity tendency of each user. |
