PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio telephone apparatus where a terminal is connected with an analog line by separating a radio link between a master set connected to the analog line and a combined slave set to a receiving line and a transmitting line and a varying the setting of the gain of a receiving line level and a transmitting line level in accordance with the terminal connected through the analog port of the charging table of the slave set. SOLUTION: At the point when connecting a modem 4 to the analog port 9 of a charging table 3, it is set that the modem 4 is connected to the port 9 of the table 3 by a menu key on the side of slave set 2. Information set here is transmitted to a master set 1 through a 32 kbps radio link and the set 1 receiving this information sets a gain for the modem by an electronic volume provided at the DSP 13 of the master set.
