PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor by which a high data transfer rate and the efficient usage of a memory are realized even when a variety of picture formats are adopted. SOLUTION: The processor is provided with a main memory 20 for storing frame data when a plurality kind of frame data with different data length in pixel data by format are processed and is provided with a processing element 343 and a memory control circuit 341, by which the transmission pattern of pixel data is decided to transmit pixel data by using the whole data widths of internal buses 347 and 348 even when data with any kind of format are processed in the case of performing access to the main memory 20 via the internal buses 347 and 348 and by which at least one kind of pixel data are divided as necessary and transmitted by different timings via the internal buses 347 and 348.
