PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of environmental pollution and long cleaning time when existing piping is cleaned using cleaning refrigerant containing chlorine component having environmental problem. SOLUTION: Existing piping is cleaned using a cleaner for refrigeration cycle employing refrigerant containing no chlorine component by flowing a gas-liquid two phase mixture refrigerant through the existing piping using such a refrigerant as not dissolving the matter to be cleaned or exhibiting low solubility under liquid state.
