PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power controller, which prevents a power capacity from becoming short or excessive, avoids requiring a wasteful cost for power source equipment and prevents occurrence of serious situations such as disappearing of stored information due to the shortage of the power source capacity, by easily calculating and predicting irreducibly necessary power consumption in a device consuming power. SOLUTION: A device 2 to be supplied with power from a power source device 3 stores constitution unit constituting the device 2 as constitution information, stores power consumption to be consumed by the constitution unit as power consumption information, calculates the power consumption of the device 2 based on the constitution information and the power consumption information and executes prescribed processing on the basis of the value of the calculated power consumption.
