摘要 A lithium-manganese composite oxide which is represented by the following general formula (1): Li1+ alpha Mn2- alpha -yMyO4- delta wherein 0 </= a </= 0.5, 0.005 </= y </= 0.5, 0.005 </= y </= 0.5, -0.1 </= d </= 0.1, and M represents an element except Li and Mn, and, in a <7>Li-NMR spectrum thereof, has a ratio (I0ppm/I500ppm) of the intensity of the main peak in a range of 5 +/- 40 ppm to that in a range of 525 +/- 40 ppm which satisfies the following formula: I0ppm/I500ppm</= 0.65 y + 0.02. The lithium-manganese composite oxide is suitable for an active material of a positive electrode which can provide a lithium secondary cell being excellent in cycle characteristics at a high temperature.
