Powdered fuel material is coated with binder ready for pressing as in parent patent and also treated in advance with mould release agent; specifically a polymerisable resin is used as binder and stearic acid as mould release agent, being applied in the form of a soln. The fuel particles may contain carbon. Cost saving by combining two processes in one.
