PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic still camera that can easily made printout even when omitting waste of print. SOLUTION: Ralating to the electronic still camera provided with a printer function having an automatic print mode, in a reproduction mode of an image, printing by an operation of a release switch 23 is inhibited so as to prevent unintended print by a photographer.
