PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk reproducing device which can accurately load a disk cartridge in a reproducing mechanism. SOLUTION: When the disk cartridge is inserted into a container 1 as shown (a), an error of a distance (d) is generated, for example, between a cartridge reference pin 3a and a positioning hole 2a owing to a tolerance, a thermal shrinkage, etc. In this state, a specific load is placed on an error absorbing spring 6, so the error absorbing spring 6 pushes the disk cartridge 2 back with a specific elastic force as shown by (b). Namely, the error absorbing spring 6 pushes the disk cartridge 2 back as shown by the arrow so as to absorb the error of the distance (d).
