PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for retrieving data which can efficiently perform further detailed re-retrieval second time and after to the result retrieved on the first retrieval conditions and a recording medium with data retrieval program recorded thereon. SOLUTION: A retrieval condition sentence pattern is managed by a retrieval condition managing part 500, a retrieval request is received from an application program(AP) 700, the retrieval condition sentence pattern corresponding to this retrieval request is retrieved from the retrieval condition managing part 500, a retrieval condition sentence is prepared on the basis of the retrieval condition sentence pattern, retrieval is executed to an information source with the retrieval condition sentence, a data identifier is applied to this retrieved result and it is returned to the AP.
