PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing device equipped with an optical finder that the diopter adjustment of a photographer can be precisely set without being affected by an object by an inexpensive and simple mechanism. SOLUTION: This photographing device is provided with a finder objective lens and a finder objective optical system drive means moving the finder objective lens in the optical axis direction. Besides, it is provided with a finder objective optical system adjusting the position of an image forming surface by moving the finder objective lens and a control means controlling the finder objective optical system drive means in order to move the finder objective lens so that the position of the image forming surface of the finder objective optical system becomes different according to whether the main switch of a photographing device body is turned on or off.
