PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closed battery of the structure wherein a bolt is integrally formed with a current collector penetrating from an opening of a cover to an outer part of the battery to form a terminal, and wherein the air-tightness of the terminal is kept by tightening a nut mounted on the terminal and pressing an elastomer between a bottom surface of the cover and an upper surface of the current collector, enabling an easy adjustment of tightness to a predetermined level. SOLUTION: A projection is installed in the inside of cover opening to permit a uniform thickness of elastomer after pressing it, and the elastomeer is maintained to have a uniform thickness by contacting the projection with the current collector. Thereby, the air-tightness can be maintained to a predetermined level.
