PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, when a cationic size fixing agent is added to a papermaking raw material in which a fluorescent dye and a sizing agent coexist, the fluorescent dye and the size fixing agent have an interaction and the effect of the fluorescent dye is extremely reduced. SOLUTION: A sizing degree can be improved without lowering the effect of the fluorescent dye by adding a diallylamine-based polymer as the size fixing agent to a papermaking raw material before a total yield improver or a loading material yield improver is added.
