PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To double the number of openings compared to that of a conventional device to slow the flow velocity of gas and thereby prevent entrainment from occurring by providing the opening, a side vent fitment and a vent box on both side parts of a cylinder. SOLUTION: The side vent device has openings 4 arranged opposite to each other on both side parts of a cylinder 1 and further, has vent boxes 6, 6A connected to the openings 4 respectively through their respective side vent fitments 6, 6a. Then the air is discharged from both sides of the cylinder 1 and thereby the flow velocity of the gas is slowed and entrainment is prevented from occurring. |
