PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower structure body of a spring which can prevent the bedsore generated in sick and old persons who lie on beds for a relatively long period. SOLUTION: A lower structure body of a spring for a mattress or the like having crossbars 11 both ends of which are elastically supported has elastic bar members 10 for elastically supporting both the ends of the crossbars. These bar members have many mounting parts 20 for both the ends of the crossbars more than the crossbars. The elastic force of the bar members may be preferably changed to be compressed so as to be different, while a load is exerted on the mounting parts of the crossbars. The elastic force in the bar members may be mutually independently changed within at least some areas of the crossbars.
