<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic matter treatment device for suppressing any influence due to the failure of moisture constant sensor by detecting the failure of the moisture content sensor. SOLUTION: This organic matter treatment device is provided with a treatment tank for decomposing organic matters such as garbage to be charged by housing the carriers of microbe decomposing organic matters, the moisture constant sensor for detecting the moisture content in the treatment tank, a moisture content adjusting means for adjusting the the moisture content in the treatment tank, a failure detecting means for detecting the failure of the moisture content sensor, and a controlling means for controlling the moisture content adjusting means based on the detected result of the moisture content sensor, and for stopping the moisture content adjusting means when the failure of the moisture content sensor is detected by failure detecting means.</p> |
