PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable-shape truss frame capable of joining solid structural members and simplifying the construction of hinge portions and a variable- shape solid structure constituted of the same. SOLUTION: Chord members 12-2, 12-3, 12-6, 12-7, 12-10, 12-11 of the variable- shape truss frame 10 are formed to be flexible and other truss members have fixed lengths. In this way, the variable-shape truss frame 10 contains fixed-shape basic truss elements 18-1, 18-3, 18-5, 18-7, 18-9, 18-1 and variable-shape basic truss elements 18-2, 18-4, 18-6, 18-8, 18-10, 18-12, and the number of independently rotationally movable members to be jointed to hinges 17 is three or less. In constructing the solid structure such as a roof mountin frame, the variable-shape truss frames are provided in parallel and the fixed-shape basic truss elements are connected to each other via solid trusses.
