PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install an elevator even in a narrow heliport. SOLUTION: This elevator 100 for a heliport comprises a cylinder base 1 and a hydraulic cylinder 2, a moving frame 3 rising and descending by a hydraulic cylinder 2, a cage 4 rising and descending inside the moving frame 3. A piston 21 in the hydraulic cylinder 2 is installed to a supporting body 31. The cage 4 constitutes a rope type elevator inside the moving frame 3, and rope wheels 61, 67 are provided at the bottom surface of the cage 4, the top portion of the moving frame 3, the top portion for supporting body 31, the top portion of the supporting body 31 and the top portion of the cylinder base 1 are provided with rope wheels 61 to 67. One end of a wire rope is fixed to the bottom portion of one of supporting bodies 31, and other ends are fixed to the other supporting bodies 31 through the rope wheels 61 to 67.
