PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device which is capable of sufficiently ensuring collapse stroke and which can be provided at low cost. SOLUTION: Even when female serration 23b is formed on the inner periphery of a cylindrical member 23, a more efficient machining such as broaching can be performed by the use of a tool passing through the cylindrical member 23, and thus the productivity can be improved. Besides, by allowing a sensor shaft 32 to be used as the output shaft of a steering device, the steering device can be compact and collapse stroke of the steering device can be ensured. |
