LAMINATED POLYESTER FILM AND MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated polyester film which shows good end part skiving properties and is best suited for a high-capacity magnetic tape. SOLUTION: This laminated polyester film is characterized in that it has a thickness of 15μm or less and a modulus of elasticity E of 6 GPa or more in the film width direction and/or the film longer direction and further, a bending strength index M of 7.5×10-3 N/m or more in the width direction in terms of 5μm thickness.
