PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate such a trouble that a conventional wheelchair can not get over a level difference on a traveling path without helper. SOLUTION: A front wheel 13 comprising a plurality of leg parts 13b collapsible by a front caster jack 17 and casters 13d which are provided on tips of the leg parts 13b and rotatable only in one direction is provided on forward parts of right and left frames 1a of a wheelchair body 1 traveling by front wheels 6 and rear wheels 7, a rear caster 14 comprising a plurality of leg parts 14b collapsible by a rear caster jack 19 and wheels 14d which are provided on tips of the leg parts 14b and rotatable only in one direction is provided on rear parts of the right and left frames 1a, and the front wheels 6 and the rear wheels 7 are raised higher than the level difference to allow the wheelchair ride over the level difference by erecting these front casters 13 and the rear casters 14, and the wheelchair can get over the level difference without a helper if any on the traveling path.
