PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas compressor to reduce leakage of high pressure refrigerant gas from a compression chamber with a gap necessary to prevent the occurrence of drag and wear between parts being sufficiently insured between a rotor and a side block and between a rotor and a cylinder, and improve performance of the gas compressor. SOLUTION: An oil film seal is formed by feeding high pressure oil in an oil reservoir 20 on which a discharge refrigerant gas pressure is exerted to a gap 19-2 between the outer peripheral surface of a rotor 4 and the inner peripheral surface of a cylinder 1. Since a feed of high-pressure oil to the gap 19-2 is performed through a seal oil feed hole 50, one end 50a of the seal oil feed hole 50 is connected to a high-pressure oil 21 communicating with the oil reservoir 20 side. The other end 50b of the seal hole feed hole 50 is opened in the vicinity of the rotor in a manner to be confronted with the outer peripheral surface of the rotor 4 in the vicinity of the short diameter part of the oval of the cylinder 1.
