<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored resin emulsion highly adhesive to glass plates and a method for preparing the same, a colored resin emulsion ink obtained from the color resin emulsion, and a method for manufacturing a color filter using the said colored resin emulsion ink. SOLUTION: Provided are a colored resin emulsion to be formed when a dispersant, in which a polymer of vinylic monomers having an OH group, which is preferably a monomer described by a specified general formula (2), is formed on resin particles containing coloring material, is dispersed in water; a method for preparing a colored resin emulsion to be formed when vinylic monomers having an OH group is added to an emulsion of resin particles containing coloring material for polymerization in the presence of an oil soluble polymerization initiator; a colored resin emulsion ink containing the above colored resin emulsion; and a method for manufacturing a color filter for a liquid crystal display device which is for applying the above colored resin emulsion ink to substrates in an ink-jet printing process.</p> |
