PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting target genes and a plural kinds of recombination genes containing other DNA elements from a nucleic acid derived from a test corn sample by the aid of polymerase chain reaction. SOLUTION: This method for detecting plural kinds of recombination genes separately comprises using a plurality of nucleic acid primer pairs capable of amplifying a region containing part or the whole of target genes and part or the whole of other DNA elements. Thereby, it becomes possible to specifically detect recombination genes contained in gene-recombination corn and further, discriminate plural kinds of the above recombination genes, therefore enabling gene-recombination corn to be detected from corn and corn-processed foods, and in its turn, enabling the variety of such gene-recombination corn to be discriminated.
