PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge a region of feedback control of a wane opening of a variable capacity turbo changer 4 to a maximum so as to make an inlet air amount QAVNT detected by an air flow meter 17 corresponding to a target inlet air amount when EGR is performed in preset operating conditions by an EGR valve 13. SOLUTION: A feedback prohibited region is set approximately corresponding to an operation region, where EGR is performed, by using an engine rotating speed Ne and a fuel injection amount Tp, while the feedback prohibited region is corrected to be smaller with the drop of an atmospheric pressure Pa detected by an atmospheric pressure sensor 15 and the decrease of a cooling water temperature Tw detected by a water temperature sensor 16. In the feedback prohibited region after corrected, the feedback control of the turbo charger 4 is prohibited and changed into open control corresponding to operating conditions. |
