PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display performance of a saw blade sufficiently stably and also extend a life of a brush, by surely almost completely removing a chip sticking to a tooth tip of the saw blade and eliminating chipping, tooth lack, etc., in the tooth tip of the saw blade caused by the chip. SOLUTION: This chip removing device 27 for a sawing machine 1, provided with a brush 29 in a side surface of a saw blade 21 also to remove a chip sticking to a tooth tip of the saw blade 21 by a tip end of the brush 29, is characterized by setting a component speed in a running direction of the saw blade 21 of a peripheral speed of the brush faster than a speed of the saw blade 21 and providing the brush 29 rotatably in the same direction to the running direction of the saw blade 21.
