PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluff binding device capable of providing sufficient function for binding fluff and an automatic winder incorporating a mechanism for binding fluff effectively. SOLUTION: A fluff binding device 10 provided with a nozzle means 11 having a yarn passage 17 through which a spinning yarn Y passes and a hole jetting gas for causing a turning stream in the yarn passage 17 and twist setting means 12, 13 which are provided at least either of inlet and outlet of the yarn passage 17 and prevent twist applied on the spinning yarn Y by the turning stream from propagating to at least either of the inlet and outlet of the yarn passage 17 substantially is provided. Moreover, an automatic winder 1 in which this fluff binding device 10 is installed is provided.
