SUBSTANCE: in manufacturing fuse that has fusible link, flat pins, and plastic body zinc band and coils are fed to progressive die wherein fusible link cutting procedure is combined with shaping of blow-out portion through thickness, fuse body is fed together with fusible link from vibrating bin to automatic assembly machine built integral with die wherein fuse is assembled with mentioned link, both are joined together by cold upsetting, auxiliary jumper is cut, finished product is conveyed to automatic machine for marking fuse rating and checking it for circuit continuity. EFFECT: facilitated manufacture, provision for mechanized assembly operations, facilitated re- adjustment to other rating of fuse link. 6 dwg
