PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device capable of quickly providing the information for ultraviolet ray quantity and giving a proper guide for measures to ultraviolet ray. SOLUTION: The signal given from the central processing unit 8 of this portable device A is supplied to a power source control part 7 within an ultraviolet sensor B to read the ultraviolet ray quantity. The ultraviolet sensor B is formed of an ultraviolet sensor part 4, an analog/digital conversion part 5, a communication part 6, and a power supply control part 7. The read data is supplied to the central processing unit 8 of the portable device A and outputted to a display device 1 as numerical data. Further, the degree of influence on skin and measures to ultraviolet ray preliminarily set on the basis of such numerical data are outputted to the display device 1.
