摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation device for optical information recording and reproducing unit capable of performing a reliable evaluation of temperature characteristic. SOLUTION: This system comprises a chamber 10 containing an optical information recording and reproducing unit 11, having a transmission part 17 for guiding a luminous flux emitted therefrom to the outside and capable of optionally setting the internal temperature and an optical performance measuring device 20 for measuring the optical performance of the laser luminous flux transmitted by the transmission part 17. A diaphragm part 17 having a prescribed bore diameter is formed in the transmission part, and a reflecting surface parallel to the plane substantially orthogonal to the designed optical axis of the information recording and reproducing unit is provided near the diaphragm part. The optical performance measuring device 20 comprises an objective optical system 24, a light source for emitting the luminous flux toward a reflection part, and a light receiving means for receiving the luminous flux reflected by the reflection part. A slippage is detected on the basis of the position of a window observed through the objective optical system 24, and the inclination of the optical performance measuring device 20 to the chamber 10 is detected on the basis of the receiving position of the luminous flux by the light receiving means.
