PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice-making fresh water machine which can prevent water from scattering at a chute and in which, when ice is removed, released ice can be turned to fresh water and hence there is no need to melt ice blocks by means of a heater or the like. SOLUTION: The ice-making fresh water machine consists of an ice making mechanism 19 wherein raw water is circulated and frozen so as to be removed, an ice storing section 21 for storing ice blocks obtained at the mechanism 19, a fresh water storing tank 22 wherein a part of fresh water and ice blocks obtained at the mechanism 19 is stored at a low temperature, and stoppers 49, 50 which make contact with a part of ice blocks falling down from the mechanism 19, when ice is removed, to adjust the amount of ice blocks fed to the tank 22, thereby controlling the temperature of fresh water. A chute 20, which can swing from below an ice making plate 28 of the mechanism 19 to the ice block feed port region of the section 21, is provided. The chute 20 is positioned at the ice block feed region of the section 21, when ice is made, to prevent ice making water from scattering, while it is positioned, when ice is removed, below the plate 28 to deliver ice blocks made at the plate 28.
