METHOD OF FORMING FULORESCENT SCREEN OF PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent spotted color mixture from causing at corners of rib formation areas, when filling fluorescent paste in rib spaces with screen-printing. SOLUTION: Spacers S1 and S2 equivalent to height of ribs 12 are installed near the rib end at the fore and at rear end sides of the squeeze. Because a step at the rib end is eliminated, emulsion face of the screen print 20 will not be subjected to damage when a squeeze 22 passes the rib end, and a pinhole fault is not caused either, so that corner portions of the rib forming area will not give rise to such a fault as spotty color mixing.
