DISPLAY ASSEMBLY

An improved display assembly comprising an upstanding storage unit having a plurality of vertically aligned sides and a plurality of shelves for holding a plurality of containers, the improvement comprising a first planar member having an upper face and connected to a first side of the unit and rotatable in a vertical plane from a vertical position whereby the upper face is aligned essentially parallel to and adjacent the first side, to an essentially horizontal position whereby the upper face is aligne d essentially horizontal and perpendicularly to the first face and wherein the planar memb er is adapted to receive at least a single container. The display assembly offers enhanced display cost effectiveness, commensurate with stability when stacked with th e containers and when transported empty.
