<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately control the making position of a laser marker on each electronic components without depending on a mechanical positioning means. SOLUTION: A laser marking system is provided with a laser marker 130, which performs laser marking on ICs 110 held in a multiple magazine 120 and a CCD camera 140 for processing image which picks up the images of the ICs 110. The marker 130 and camera 140 are arranged close to each other. In the laser marking, the image of the ICs 110 held in the magazine 120 are picked up with the camera 140, and the image data obtained by means of the camera 140 are analyzed for the position of each IC 110. Then the laser marking is performed, while the marking position on each IC 110 is corrected properly by operating the laser marker 130, based on the analyzed results.</p> |
