<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method in which the moisture value of coal can be measured precisely by using an infrared moisture meter. SOLUTION: In this method, the moisture value of one kind of a coal or a mixture of two or more kinds of coals is measured by an infrared moisture meter. A correction value which is found on the basis of the degree of coalification of one kind of a coal or on the basis of the average degree of coalification of the mixture of two or more kinds of coals is added to a measured value by the infrared moisture meter so as to obtain the moisture value.</p> |
