PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly correct the position of both fitting members while ensuring the stability of a form of cylindrical elastic member at time of fitting, in an attempt to correct the position of both of the fitting members by putting the cylindrical elastic member between the peripheral surfaces of the fitting members. SOLUTION: A peripheral correction rib 25 is made to project beyond the inside periphery of the hood section 23 of a female member 20. The correction rib 25 is allocated to an external peripheral surface of a thinner wall section 41 formed along the periphery of an elastic member 40. The thinner wall section 41 has large resilience to a given elastic deflection and the thinner wall section 41 allows a proper correction of an inclination of the position of male and female members 10 and 20. In addition, since the elastic member 40 is thick except for the thinner section 41, it is unlikely to be deformed with rippling(buckling) when both of the members 10 and 20 are fit with each other.
