PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical controller provided with a main shaft small in size and high in output. SOLUTION: The numerical controller 101 constituted by combining a servo motor 805 for executing positioning operation with a servo driving device 801 for controlling the position of the servo motor 805 is provided with a main shaft acceleration/deceleration processing part 160 for setting the acceleration/ deceleration command speed of the main shaft by a previously set acceleration/ deceleration pattern on the basis of the command revolving speed of the main shaft engaged with the servo motor 805 and a speed position conversion circuit 150 for integrating the acceleration/deceleration command speed and converting the integrated speed into a position command value for the servo driving device 801 for driving the main shaft.
