PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a gap between the retainer part of a pad retainer and the torque receiving surface of a caliper body, when a pad retainer is mounted on the caliper body. SOLUTION: A through-hole 11d, larger than the shaft part 17a of a set screw 17, is formed in the mounting piece 11c of a pad retainer 11. An elastic bush 18 is situated at the internal part of the through-hole lid. The elastic bush 18 comprises a shaft hole 18a in which the stem part 17a of the set screw 17 is inserted, and an expansion part 18b deformed in the direction of an anti- friction pad by screwing-in of the set screw 17 and bringing a retainer part 11a into contact with a torque receiving surface 2d through the movement of the mounting piece 11c in the direction of the anti-friction pad.
